A fax adapter connects your fax machine to the Internet. Once connected,
your fax machine communicates with the FaxLogic service to send and receive
faxes. No phone line is required.

Sending a Fax Using a Phone Number
To send a fax from your fax machine, using a phone number:
The fax adapter transmits your fax to a FaxLogic server. The FaxLogic system routes the fax to its destination and places a copy of it in your online account.
Sending a Fax Using a Speed-Dial Number
To send a fax from your fax machine, using a Speed-Dial number:
The fax adapter transmits your fax to a FaxLogic server. The FaxLogic system translates the Speed-Dial number you dialed to a phone number, then it routes the fax to its destination and places a copy of it in your online account. See Speed-Dial Settings for information about Speed-Dial setup.
Scanning and Archiving a Document
To scan and archive a document from your fax machine:
The fax adapter transmits your scanned document to a FaxLogic server. The FaxLogic system translates the Speed-Dial number you dialed to a folder in your online account, then it stores your document there.
